Advertisements

Job advertisements should list the main selection criteria. avoid using gender-specific terms such as "Barmaid" and "Girl Friday" or potentially ageist terms such as "mature" and "office junior". Advertisements should not state, or even imply, that the job is restricted to people on the basis of personal characteristics such as sex, unless sex is a genuine occupational requirement.
